Frères Edwards is a bilingual country-folk duo made up of brothers Aiden and Logan Edwards, born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Their francophone roots stretch across two provinces. On their mother's side, they descend from the Mailloux family of Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, and the Gobeil family, a proud Fransaskois family originally from Albertville, Saskatchewan. Their family history is deeply tied to the French language and culture, including a family connection to well-known Quebec figure Doc Mailloux. Their English heritage and the Edwards name come from their father's side.
Growing up in Prince Albert, where francophones are a minority, Aiden and Logan spent twelve years in French immersion. They kept speaking French at home, in sports, at work, and now through their music. Their French carries a distinctly Fransaskois accent they aren't afraid to let show — it's part of who they are and where they come from.
Over the past several years, the brothers have performed more than 200 shows in both French and English. Blending francophone country, folk, and Prairie energy, Frères Edwards brings real brotherly chemistry to every show, along with humor, storytelling, and deep pride in their community. Their songs draw from historical events, stories passed down through generations, and their own lived experience — a way of preserving the past while sharing their view of the world today.
Proud to be Fransaskois and deeply rooted in Prince Albert, Aiden and Logan are ready to bring their personality and their music to the Canadian francophone stage. Through their songs, they hope to encourage other Fransaskois — especially young people — to take pride in their language, to keep pursuing their journey in French, and to recognize that their accent and identity deserve to be heard.
